先週に続いて九龍城です

『九龍城砦』はファンタジーとしての異世界感が演出されていましたが、
今回の『九龍城探訪』は真反対のリアルドキュメンタリーです

複雑な歴史を持つ九龍城に来た、同じく複雑な人のインタビュー記事が数多く掲載されています

このようなドキュメンタリーというと、夢から醒めさせるようなリアルな生活感があるものですが、九龍城はシンプルではありません。

無許可歯科医(多い)
ゴキブリに悩む製麺業一家(ネズミも多い)
弟がギャンブル麻薬中毒の雑貨屋(全然悩んでない)
木製定規屋(そんな商売があるのか)

この本で彼らは本当に淡々と語り、暮らしていて、そこがとても面白いところでもあります。

カラー写真もかなりあり、九龍城の決定版と言える一冊です

There are many interview articles of the same complicated person who came to Kowloon Walled City with a complicated history.

Such a documentary has a realistic feeling of life that awakens you from your dreams, but Kowloon Walled City is not simple.

Unauthorized dentist (many)
Noodle-making family suffering from cockroaches (many mice)
Young brother is a gambling drug addict general store (not worried at all)
Wooden ruler shop (Is there such a business?)

In this book they really talk and live, which is also a very interesting place.

There are quite a few color photographs, and it is a book that can be said to be the definitive edition of Kowloon Walled City.
